Thandiwe Abdullah, 15 year old who helped to found the Black Lives Matter youth vanguard. Arlene Inouye, the chair of the UTLA bargaining team, a UTLA secretary and a speech and language specialist. Judy Vaughn, founding member of Alexandria House where she has lived and worked for 21 years. Helen Jones Watts native, mother of John Horton who was murdered by sheriff deputies at the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles on March 30, 2009. Jones is also the founder of HeadHigh Entertainment.
